About Budhanilkantha Sundarijal Hiking – 1 Day:
Kathmandu Summit Adventure’s Budhanilkantha Sundarijal Hiking is a perfect one-day hiking trip starting with a drive to Budhanilkantha via Chakrapath starts hiking to Nagi Gumba, Tarebhir to Sundarijal bus park. Budhanilkantha temple and Krishna temple are situated in Budhanilkantha and Nagi Gumba (Monastery) along the hiking route are significant places to visit.
Kathmandu Summit Adventure’s Budhanilkantha Sundarijal Hiking hike also known as Shivapuri hiking among the hikers as we hike through Sivapuri National Park. You can observe magnificent views of the Kathmandu Valley from Tarebhir.
Budhanilkantha Sundarijal Hiking distance is about 18 kilometres and takes 5 to 6 hours. The Shivapuri day hike passes through the Shivapuri conservation area, villages and the Buddhist shrine Nagi Gumba. If you love to watch the birds and hear bird chirping this will be your perfect day outing.
Itinerary
07: 00 AM – Pickup at hotel and drive to Budhanilkantha:
08: 00 AM – Start hiking from the south side of Shivapuri which will take you to Nagi Gompa and Tarebhir then afternoon lunch will be taken en route.
02: 00 PM – Hike down to Sundarijal.
04: 00 PM – Drive back to the hotel.
Note: We suggest you take a packed lunch from Kathmandu.
